So here’s the story. I packed up my stuff at the weekend and moved to my hometown after the completion of my five years long run part-time CS degree. I still have resources from academia like edu mail and still need to visit the college for my graduation ceremony. I thought I was late and that I didn’t leverage my edu mail for the GitHub Student Developer Pack. I applied via my email. I also got this as a response which was supposed to bypass..
our school is a GitHub Campus partner.

After onwards, again I got the rejection after a few minutes in the mail. I had my university admit card with full date, provided every resource.
Rejection was like this.

What happened?

Seems like they want me to be around my university area which they track during the submission of the form. From here, the real game begins, I intercepted my request during the submission of the form for the Github Student Developer Pack. I found some juicy parameters which are yet to be submitted.
Here you can see my current location, I replaced my current latitude and longitude values with my college one. With the help of Google Maps, I was able to calculate and find out the latitude and longitude of my campus. I forward the edited request via a repeater. After a few minutes, it got approved without being present around my campus.
Having said this, I have fulfilled all the requirements to get the Github Student Developer Pack. I was just outside the University area and was at home. Thought of leveraging my cybersecurity skills and eventually made the fun out of it.
It took 3 days to wait after approval and get the GitHub Developer Student Pack. I appreciate that Github provides awesome resources and a platform to learn and thrive at the college level. Thank you Github for providing an amazing platform.
